Brennan Healing Science is a profound healing system, synthesizing the physical, energetic, psychological & spiritual principles of healing & human consciousness. It works to bring your system back into alignment in the most gentle, yet effective way, restoring optimum health and well-being.
Developed by Dr Barbara Brennan, former NASA physicist & best selling author of ‘Hands of Light’ and ‘Light Emerging’, it combines the sciences of quantum physics and psychology, and the understanding of interpersonal relationships with specific healing techniques, intuition and spiritual connection.
As it is a complementary system, many Brennan Healing Science Practitioners work as members of a healing team to facilitate the physical healing of many dis-ease conditions, quicken recovery from surgery or trauma, reduce pain and assist with emotional and spiritual growth.
Why do people come for healing?
People come for a variety of reasons; some of my clients came to me because they wanted help in the following areas:
- They were ‘stuck’, feeling ‘there has to be more to life!’
- A desire to go deeper than the limits of traditional psychological therapy saying, ‘talking about my issue isn’t getting me anywhere.’
- They had reached a time of significant challenge in their lives and wanted support
- They had a deep longing to heal from trauma, or a period of prolonged stress
- A hunger for a broader spiritual context for making sense of life
- They feel that their physical symptoms would benefit from a complementary or holistic approach
- A strong desire to transform their lives, saying, ‘ I just don’t know which direction to go in, I don’t know what it is I want to do, I just know it’s not this!’
- They wanted to enliven their creativity
How does it work?
Your body already knows how to heal, though sometimes there may be disruptions which occur and lead to a lack of health or vitality. Brennan Healing works with your system to release stored energy blocks, clear your energetic pathways and restore your natural equilibrium. This has a deep impact on all levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual, allowing your body to relax and vibrate at a higher rate of health.
The healing takes place with you relaxing, fully clothed on a healing table as I work to clear and balance your energy system. The specific techniques used differ and are tailored to your individual needs. They may include chakra balancing, removal of energetic blocks, soul purpose alignment or cellular repair.
This non-invasive therapy can benefit you enormously by helping your body’s innate healing process to take place. The practical benefits of energy healing are achieved by restoring the natural energy balance and removing the underlying conflicts that cause unwanted symptoms and problems in our lives.

- “What We Have Here Is A Failure to Communicate” June 20, 2011
The AARP/NCCAM survey found that 50 percent of men and women reported using some form of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Of these, three-fourths used CAM to help prevent illness, and an equal number had turned to CAM to reduce pain or treat painful conditions. Clearly, there are good reasons why so many people are turning to CAMs as part of their efforts to stay healthy, treat health problems or both. But here is the catch: Fewer than one in three people who use CAM have discussed that use with their doctors. And even fewer turned to a CAM at the suggestion of their doctor.
Why is there such a gap? Nearly half of the survey respondents stated that their health care provider never asked them about their use of CAM. Another 60 percent of respondents said that:
There wasn’t enough time to talk about their use of CAM.
They didn’t think their doctors would know anything about CAM.
They thought their doctor would advise them to stop using CAM.
They just weren’t comfortable discussing CAM with their doctor.

- Many Patients with Incurable Brain Tumors Seek Complementary Therapies December 27, 2010
Many people diagnosed with incurable brain tumors turn to complementary therapies to slow the growth of their cancer or relieve side effects like fatigue and depression, new research shows.
The study, published in the Dec. 14 issue of the journal Neurology, included completed questionnaires from 621 patients with glioma brain tumors who had received conventional treatment, including surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation, at six cancer centers in Germany.
Slightly more than 40% of the patients who returned the questionnaire reported using some kind of alternative or complementary medicine in addition to their conventional care.Read more here: http://www.webmd.com/cancer/brain-cancer/news/20101213/many-patients-with-incurable-brain-tumors-seek-complementary-therapies
